沉默而孤獨的中年男人賽揚·費爾南德斯（伊爾凡·可汗 Irfan Khan 飾）妻子去世多年，工作也快到了退休之時。形單影只的賽揚上班下班吃飯回家，寂寞的時候就在陽臺上抽煙，不發(fā)出一句響聲；伊拉（妮拉特·考爾 Nimrat Kaur 飾），一個單純簡單的家庭主婦。她把所有的感情都投入到了家庭中，把照顧女兒伺候丈夫視為自己的責任。她只希望她的丈夫能多看她一眼，多關注她一些。兩個生活在孟買完全不可能有交集的男女，居然因為一次午餐錯拿而有了交集，引起了共鳴。他們開始用傳統(tǒng)而含蓄的書信進行往來，向對方傾訴自己的孤獨和寂寞。在城市的兩個角落里，一個陰差陽錯的美麗錯誤，兩個彼此陌生的男女，一段觸不可及的感情緩緩開始。?豆瓣
