故事發(fā)生二次世界戰(zhàn)剛剛結(jié)之際，德在戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中落，大部德軍淪為俘，被送了戰(zhàn)俘營(yíng)。在位于寧格勒近的一間戰(zhàn)營(yíng)中，新了一批德戰(zhàn)俘，負(fù)看守他們是一群英颯爽的俄女人，她的直系上是巴普洛將軍（約·馬爾科奇 John Malkovich 飾）?！ ∧人?亞（維?法梅加 Vera Farmiga 飾）是一名軍醫(yī)她的丈夫為在戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)受驚過(guò)度精神失常為了保護(hù)夫，娜塔亞不得不應(yīng)巴普洛將軍的要，來(lái)到戰(zhàn)營(yíng)，試圖出隱藏在虜之中的衛(wèi)軍戰(zhàn)犯在這所陰恐怖的戰(zhàn)營(yíng)中，無(wú)是守衛(wèi)還囚犯，其心都收到戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)所帶的深深的傷，隨著間的推移兩方人馬立場(chǎng)和關(guān)開始漸漸得微妙起?
1982. A young police officer hardened in the worst neighbourhoods of Madrid accepts a post in a small village by the sea in the hope of healing his sick daughter and gaining some inner peace. But once there he becomes involved in the investigation of the strange murder of the inspector he replaced. The inquiry will lead him to a group of Nazi elders who live a heavenly and happy retreat on the coast.
